Here on my blog, I receive a reasonable number of hits on a regular basis, regarding a few specific search engine terms that include ‘halogen oven’.
One of these involves air-frying – or, more specifically; the optional air-frying attachment that can be purchased for most 12lt ovens.
With this in mind, I recorded a video several weeks ago and, on Monday evening, I go around to completing the editing process and uploading my brief introduction to the use of an air-frying attachment in my halogen oven.
I do hope this video is of use to others and, if that is the case, I will look to record further footage on the use of the halogen oven.
You’ll get to read about this in another post shortly but, this past Sunday, I successfully led my first walk of the year, with previous walk-leading experiences having come all the way back in July.
For this occasion, I decided that I would continue my tradition of baking something… I considered brownies, which I’d attempted on another walk last year. Shortbread seemed the easiest option – but again, it would be too familiar with July’s walk. Then, as I began to think of biscuits, I settled upon the idea of cookies.
I do hope everyone has had and is still enjoying a good and healthy Christmas, wherever you are.
Within the spirit of the season, I decided to bake something for the big day. Inspired by this recipe, I decided to have a go at a ‘Christmas pudding’ but with a chocolate brownie twist… Tesco also produced a video, which first attracted me to the idea and you can find a link to that at the foot of this post.
As I discovered a few months ago, I really like carrot cake. I forget the occasion as to why I made these (other than the fact that I was feeling greedy) but I was able to share them around with a few people and there was nothing bad to say.
