This post is going to be a brief recap of the few items I purchased at the Yandles show yesterday afternoon. I have driven all the way down there, looked around and then come home again without spending a penny in the past… That’s not easy to do! But then, I’m not one for splurging a small fortunate in a moment of madness (unless I’m sat infront of my laptop, perhaps…).

DVD Wall Shelf (Part 3)
For one reason or another, it’s been almost two-months since I lasted updated you on the American lime wall shelf I was building to re-house my over-blown DVD collection, following a house move at the end of March. Most of the past week has been spent finishing (literally!) various bits and pieces – look out for future posts in the next week or so. While I began lacquering my English cherry bookshelf several weeks ago, it just wasn’t going as well as I had hoped and the finish was less than satisfactory. Before binning the leftover lacquer and switching to Osmo’s hard wax oil though, I sent an e-mail to Chestnut directly, to see if they could offer any advice…
