So, we’re now in to Month 2 of 2015 and how are your New Year’s Resolutions coming along?

I’m making a renewed effort to clear more clutter from my home and in this post, I’ll be looking briefly at some of the items I’ve selected over the past month.

Clutter Update

So, I’ve been living with the addition of ‘excess workshop clutter‘ for about three-weeks now and my casual efforts to declutter are progressing. It’s still too easy to look at the photo below and to decide that it’s not getting any better but I have helped three more items on their way over the past week and, of course, I’ll be looking to repeat fear over the coming seven days.

As it stands, today.

New Clutter

While it may’ve been my birthday eight-days ago, that Monday was also the day in which I decided to clear out and close the door on my first workshop for the final time. DVD-ecluttering

I say begin because, to me, it’s an on-going process. If you try to do it all at once, it requires a greater effort and that can feed anxiety and stress, leading to procrastination and avoidance.

Two boxes. Too many unwatched DVDs!

Freecyclin’

On a day where I’d usually be out roaming the countryside, I’ve instead decided to take some time out to continue to furnish my new home with the help of Freecycle. Severe flooding has hit Bristol and North Somerset in recent days and with rain continuing to fall as I type this, I’m actually quite glad to be indoors today.
