Here on my blog, I receive a reasonable number of hits on a regular basis, regarding a few specific search engine terms that include ‘halogen oven’.
One of these involves air-frying – or, more specifically; the optional air-frying attachment that can be purchased for most 12lt ovens.
With this in mind, I recorded a video several weeks ago and, on Monday evening, I go around to completing the editing process and uploading my brief introduction to the use of an air-frying attachment in my halogen oven.
I do hope this video is of use to others and, if that is the case, I will look to record further footage on the use of the halogen oven.
It’s now been two-weeks since I left my faulty halogen oven, ready to be collected and returned to Andrew James. My concern began to grow earlier this week, as I’d expected and hoped to hear from them. I dropped an e-mail in to their inbox on Wednesday night and then, before I could even check my e-mails twenty-four hours later; I received a text message at 9am on Thursday morning from a courier, stating that my anonymous parcel was on its way…
It was Monday evening; a slow start to another all-too-familiar week. I needed something to pick myself up and I found that in the challenge of baking my first ever shepherd’s pie. Plus, I’d already bought the necessary ingredients a week earlier.
Over the weekend, I received a air-fryer attachment that quite simply allows me to fry foods in my Andrew James 12lt Halogen Oven and in manner that’s considerably more healthy than allow something to sizzle in a pan of boiling grime.
Two of my favourite ingredients baked within the same oven! This was the same cake I baked during an unofficial ‘Cake Day‘ with a friend back in October – see, I want to say ‘last month‘ but already, it seems December has crept upon us. My first attempt wasn’t without a little disappointment but that fuelled me with the necessary preparation for this effort.
If you’re interested in baking this one for yourself then you’ll find the recipe that I used by clicking right here.
I’ve been on a bit of a cake-baking frenzy of late. In this post, I’m going to share with you my first (and then second) attempt at baking a lemon drizzle cake, about a fortnight ago. Last Saturday was an unofficial ‘Cake Day’ where a friend and I got together to try and bake-away the mistakes that have plagued our recent efforts…
I had no initial intention of baking a specific lemon drizzle cake. I was searching online for ideas that would suit my halogen oven when I stumbled upon this recipe at the same very site.
